Salary: £91,004 to £104,927
Location: London / Leeds with travel required between both locations.

In December 2018, the Office for Life Sciences published the second Life Sciences Sector Deal,
which set out the first-steps towards ensuring the benefits of health data are realised across the
country. Alongside five guiding principles for NHS Organisations entering into data sharing
agreements, we committed to establishing a National Centre of Expertise (the ‘Centre’). The Centre
will oversee our developing policy framework, provide specialist commercial and legal advice to NHS
organisations entering data agreements. Ultimately, the vision of the Centre is to provide NHS
organisations with the capability, capacity and confidence to enter into data-sharing partnerships
that benefit the NHS, Patients and the Public.
We are seeking a Head of Commercial Delivery, the role will provide the day-to-day leadership of the
operational delivery arm of the Centre, ensuring it provides high-quality support for NHS
organisations and Industry on their commercial, data-oriented partnerships. You will use your
commercial expertise and experience of developing user-focussed support offers to deliver effective
and excellent commercial advice and guidance to NHS organisations.
You will develop a framework for valuing data, standard contracts, tools and best practice guidance,
as well as helping facilitate discussions between Industry, NHS organisations, researchers and
patient / patient representatives, as well as any other relevant partners (such as local government).
Managing and actively nurturing inclusive and trusting relationships with all key stakeholders, you will
ensure that the framework is formulated with wide engagement, is well accepted and understood,
and that support is delivered using all available resources efficiently and effectively.

improvement and innovation. Educated to Masters level or equivalent degree, or demonstrable
